Amazing inspirational words of wisdom.
I was inspired by the clip created by TragedyandHope and decided to make my own with images of my own dreams.

Alan Watts is a brilliant philosopher and writer.

What If Money Was No Object? - Alan Watts.

After watching -but most importantly listening- the above inspirational video with the gorgeous music of Ludovico Einaudi - "Divenire", it’s apparent that 1) Alan Watts knew exactly what he was talking about, and 2) he was ahead of his time. It’s proof that a good idea along with some patience and time will spread to those who are ready for it. The British philosopher inspires us all to do what we love.

The Real You - Alan Watts

Who are you really? An amazing lecture given by Alan Watts a British philosopher, writer, and speaker.

Alan Watts breaks down what's wrong with the world - Part 1 (1970)

Alan Watts breaks down what's wrong with the world - Part 1 & 2 (1970)

The very wise Alan Watts breaks down what's wrong with the world at large, and does so back in 1970! His foreshadowing of the manipulation of the food supply through high yield crops is eery and so very true (i.e., Monsanto and their Ready Roundup crops).

He proposes a number of things we can do to change our attitudes towards life and the planet. I'm sorry to say he would be greatly disappointed if he were alive today, however we still have a chance to set things right and fulfill Watts' dream of unity, peace, and love.

Autophagy Fasting: The Mystery Explained

Autophagy Fasting: The Mystery Explained

INTERMITTENT FASTING
Simply put, intermittent fasting isn't a diet. Intermittent fasting is a meal timing plan. So basically what you're doing is you're focusing on a specific period of time in which you are abstaining from food and abstaining from calories and then you have a set period of time in which you consolidate all of your food, all of your calories. You're basically going for an extended period of time and not eating , but fasting. And then you're going into a period of time where you are eating, your fed window. So one of the biggest problems that people make with fasting is they overthink it.

AUTOPHAGY 'to eat thyself.' Recycle the cellular parts that are damaged or not being used. In this video I talk about Autophagy and how to achieve Autophagy through Intermittent Fasting. Intermittent Fasting is a great way to get into a Keto Diet and ultimately what you need to do to achieve Autophagy.

KETONES AND AUTOPHAGY.

Baby Boomers endured the most abuse from the medical establishment over the last 40 years. Before it’s too late, we in the medical establishment might have a few years to redeem some of the atrocious recommendations that your generation lived were given. The science of how your body eats itself is something you should pay attention to and master.

Autophagy removes debris found inside your body’s cells. All those years of poorly fed brain cells, sleep deprived hearts, smoking in your early years, and becoming fatter than any generation before has left you with lots of crusty cells. The debris within your tissue has been there for years. If you are overweight, this debris has been around for as long as those extra pounds have insulated you. PLUS ten years.

Intermittent Fasting with Keto Diet explained

Intermittent Fasting with Keto Diet explained by Dr. Boz

Intermittent Fasting with Ketogenic Diet: NOT A LOW-CALORIE DIET. Please, do not confuse my support of intermittent fasting with support for starving. Let me be clear: NO STARVING ALLOWED! Reduced calorie diets are a no-no. Intermittent Fasting (IF) knocks the socks off of a Low Calorie or Reduced Calorie diet. Indeed, I would say they are the OPPOSITE of each other. Intermittent fasting shifts your chemistry in the opposite direction of the low-calorie diets.

A calorie-reduced diet would be more accurately called a torture diet. No matter its name, it triggers your chemistry to store fat. This low-calorie setting takes your food and squirrels it away into cells designated to save energy. If you want body chemistry that locks your energy efficiently into your fat cells, go on a reduced calorie diet. Every study regarding reduced calorie diets has proven this over and over again. Notice that I have not mentioned carbohydrates or fat. When scouring through every reduced calorie diet, notice that the instructors of these diets select food with the fewest calories. Fats add the most calories per bite, therefore are chosen sparingly for these diets. When the dietician adds fat to the list of foods, suddenly their low-calorie diet is no longer low in calories. Their system is stressed, and you can measure their stress hormones to prove it. They don’t sleep well. They feel tired, crabby, and a countdown to the day they can start eating again. Sadly, their metabolism suffered the most damage. During the eight weeks of their diet ordeal, their body remains in the 'store all that you can find' mode. When they resume eating, watch out. BOOOM! The calories will be sucked into storage never to be re-released.

Autophagy Foods: Foods to Eat to BOOST AUTOPHAGY

Autophagy Foods: Foods to Eat to BOOST AUTOPHAGY when your NOT FASTING!

Autophagy has now been proven a beneficial process that occurs in the human body. While inducing this particular process is mostly associated with the process of fasting, which places the body into a starvation mode, research also suggests that switching to certain diets may further assist in improving the overall effectiveness of the autophagy process. With this in mind, individuals who would like to take advantage of the cellular renewal that comes with increasing autophagy activity in their body should educate themselves on particular foods that could be beneficial to the process. Even though the majority of studies regarding autophagy tend to focus on how fasting techniques can be used to activate this activity in the body, some studies have also found that certain foods may be useful too. In particular, one study found that the use of... There are certain spices and herbs that may also be useful for inducing autophagy in the human body. In a study led by scientists at the Jinshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, researchers determined that...

F = T ∇ SÏ„ Is there an equation for intelligence?

Is there an equation for intelligence? Yes. It's F = T ∇ SÏ„. In a fascinating and informative talk, physicist and computer scientist Alex Wissner-Gross explains what in the world that means.

Intelligence -- what is it? If we take a look back at the history of how intelligence has been viewed, one seminal example has been Edsger Dijkstra's famous quote that "the question of whether a machine can think is about as interesting as the question of whether a submarine can swim." Now, Edsger Dijkstra, when he wrote this, intended it as a criticism of the early pioneers of computer science, like Alan Turing. However, if you take a look back and think about what have been the most empowering innovations that enabled us to build artificial machines that swim and artificial machines that [fly], you find that it was only through understanding the underlying physical mechanisms of swimming and flight that we were able to build these machines. And so, several years ago, I undertook a program to try to understand the fundamental physical mechanisms underlying intelligence.

Net Neutrality And Cyber Surveillance

Buzz words like “net neutrality” and “cyber surveillance” are often heard and seen in the media, along with various bills referred to by various acronyms. What does it all mean, and why should you care?

Canadians have long enjoyed relatively open and free access to Internet. One of the most important aspects of the Internet is the information and ideas that it has provided to billions of people worldwide. The Internet has been a catalyst for social and political change, spreading concepts and ideas around the globe in a short period of time, and has even had a role in helping take down oppressive regimes. It is where free speech and innovation are king.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) developed a framework in 2009 which guides Internet service providers (ISPs) on accepted Internet Traffic Management Practices (ITMPs).

This framework attempts to balance the interests of both ISPs and consumers. ISPs want to control Internet traffic to prevent things like piracy and illegal streaming from congesting their infrastructure, while consumers want private and open access to online content without discrimination through censorship or speed throttling. This is called net neutrality, and it is what many people believe make the Internet as valuable as it is today.

The CRTC’s framework stipulates that ISPs must be transparent and allow open access to the Internet in order to allow innovation and competition to thrive. Internet traffic cannot be discriminated against regardless of its content, use, platform, or source.

The only acceptable use of ITMPs are in instances of temporarily protecting the security and integrity of networks.

Food Inc - Full Movie

TheTruth About Your Food with FOOD, INC. Filmmaker Robert Kenner

Oscar-nominated director, Robert Kenner joins us to talk about the film and food industries and his film's runaway success.

Showcasing clips from the movie, we go into the inspiration behind the production, as well as the process of shooting and how the film's success has spring-boarded Robert into a new realm of being an activist.

You are what you eat. It is a simple expression that bears scary implications as you watch the acclaimed documentary, FOOD, INC. Director Robert Kenner draws upon the searing reportage of authors Eric Schlosser (Fast Food Nation) and Michael Pollan (The Omnivore's Dilemma) to explore how modern developments in food production pose grave risks to our health and environment. These writers aren't radicals or even vegetarians (Schlosser admits that his favourite meal is a hamburger and fries), but they are crusaders when it comes to exposing problems and naming offenders. There are stories of heartbreak and outrage, but the film carefully channels these emotions towards opportunities for activism. Watching FOOD, INC. gives you a strong appetite for better meals. 2008 Perfect Meal, LLC. All Rights Reserved. Distributed exclusively in Canada by Alliance Films.
