An analogy
My brother was telling me about a girl who cuts meat at his restaurant. He asked her what she would like to do if money were no object. Her response was to relax at first, temporarily, but that her true passion was to work with animals, open a zoo. How ironic, what she's doing to pay her bills is the exact opposite of what she would be doing if her bills were taken care of. An analogy would be for a pianist to smash pianos for a living.
